We are usually available to get out to you the Same Day, and where it is necessary to take the computer back to a workshop, we can normally get your computer back to you within 3 days.

While most computer repair and maintenance companies will charge for different services, such as Virus removal, hardware failure, or operating system configuration problems, we charge a simple fee (excluding any hardware costs) for all services listed to the right and more:

Upgrades from £19.99* (inc. VAT)

A simple computer upgrade has several benefits. Firstly by giving a noticeable performance increase, whether it is to allow programs to run faster when multi-tasking, or perhaps you are running out of Hard Disk space for storing your family photos and music, we will provide a cheap solution. As well as the performance increase, by repairing and upgraging your existing computer you can extend its use by 2-3 years, not only saving you money but also reducing unecessary waste from unused electronic components.

A simple memory, or hard disk upgrade can cost as little as £19.99, excluding the cost of parts, but dont worry, we provide some of the best quality parts at very reasonable prices, for instance a 512MB Corsair memory chip can cost as little as £14.99. Repairs for £39.99* (inc. VAT)

Any problem, we will happily investigate and remedy for £39.99. Whatever the cause, whether it be a virus, hardware failure, or software failure, we will provide an all inclusive quote. On Site Repairs for £39.99 (inc. VAT) per hour

Where possible we will always try to fix your computer on site, this is normally possible for upgrades and hardware replacements. However, due to the nature of some issues we need to take action that can run for several hours (our in depth Virus scan can run for a whole day depending on the machine specification!). We should be able to inform you from what you tell us about your issues whether we should be able to fix the computer on location in your home or office, or if we need to take your computer to one of our workshops.

Guarantee / Warranty / Insurance

All parts supplied are covered by warranty for one month after purchase by bits, then by manufacturers warranty usually for a period of one year. If a fault re-occurs within a period of 2 weeks, we will re-investigate free of charge, any required parts will be charged for. In addition, using bits provides the added benefit of having Professional Indemity Insurance, providing you peace of mind that if you suffer any losses through unlikely faulty workmanship by a member of bits staff we have additional protection to recover your losses.

Where We Cover and Delivery / Collection

Currently our main area of coverage is the South-East of England with the majority of our work carried out along the South Coast around Portsmouth and Chichester. We dont work from fancy retail outlets, but from workshops nestled in the South-East, this keeps our costs to a minimum, meaning we can focus on providing you with a service that is second to none, at the most competitive price. Whilst we will work on site at your location, this service is charged at a premium and our preference is to carry out work in our workshops and pass the savings on to our customers.

Collection and return of your system can be arranged within 40 miles of our workshops at a time convenient to you, the cost of which varies between £5-£15 depending on location, time of collection, and surrounding collections / drop-offs.

On collection

For your peace of mind, upon collection we will provide you with a receipt detailing that we have collected your computer. We do require full payment for the quoted price upon collection. This can be made by cash payment, cheque, or alternatively you can provide a bank transfer to our bank account.
